This page calculates a live fear and greed index for the crypto market by aggregating 24-hour price changes across major coins and perpetual funding rates from Hyperliquid. The gauge displays a score from 0 (extreme fear) to 100 (extreme greed), with a verdict and a breakdown of bullish and bearish signals.

• Combines price momentum from Pacifica's 75 markets with funding rates from Hyperliquid.
• Positive funding rates indicate longs are paying shorts, a sign of greed; negative rates indicate fear.
• Score above 60 signals greed (BUY), below 40 signals fear (SELL), and between is neutral.
